Manage Workspaces

Goal: Move between your workspaces, and create, archive or restore one.

Open Workspace -> View All.... The window is titled Manage Workspaces: Workspace catalogue, Your Workspaces.

What the window shows

PartWhat it is
Search workspaces...Narrows the list, with a result count
Active workspacesEach workspace's name and description, Current on the one you are in, Archive and Set Active
Archived workspacesEach archived workspace, with Restore. "No archived workspaces yet." when there are none
+ Create New WorkspaceOpens the create form
ControlWhat it does
Set ActiveSwitches you into that workspace. While it runs the button reads Setting active... and the other Set Active and Restore buttons wait; if your session needs a fresh sign-in first, they come back
ArchiveOpens the archive confirm - the same as in Workspace Settings
RestoreAsks "Restore workspace (name)? This will make it available again." and brings its configuration back. The next Deploy builds again what Archive tore down
CreateIn the create form: Workspace Name (for example "Production Ops") and an optional Description. Creates the workspace and switches you into it

The Fathym workspace is not listed here; members of its team open it from Manage Fathym Workspace.

Save and Deploy

Each action here happens at once; none is part of a Save, and none waits for Deploy - except that a restored workspace is rebuilt in Azure by its next Deploy.

Rights

Archive needs an owner of the workspace or Workspace.Access.Manage, the same as in Workspace Settings. Restore checks no access right.

Azi and agents

Workspaces are created, switched, archived and restored by a person here; Azi and agents do not propose them.
