OpenX MCP Server prompts

This page answers which prompts the OpenX MCP server offers. A prompt is a ready-made set of instructions a person picks in their client, which then guides the AI through a task with the tools.

The five static prompts

PromptUse it to
warm-query-usage-guideFind and run the workspace's saved warm queries.
build-industrial-systemPlan and propose a new system: connections, surfaces and queries.
debug-systemWork out why a part of the workshop is not doing what it should.
workspace/mutation-guideShape a change to the workspace as a proposal a person can accept.
api-reference-guideFind and call the OpenX api's routes.

The posture prompt

posture is the server's own instructions as a prompt: what the server is, its tools in the order you use them, and how to work here. It is the same text a client receives when it connects, so a client or agent that reads prompts rather than the connect instructions gets it too. Azi reads it at the start of each turn. See Working with the tools.

Per-kind prompts

For each node kind that is on in the workspace, the session adds a node-guide/<kind> prompt with that kind's guide.
