Live Devices

Connect a real device or stream that pushes data into your workshop.

Get the credentials

Add a Connection and open its Inspector. It gives you the connection details your device needs - a connection string or token, plus host/port. Point your device at them and it starts streaming.

Rotate safely

Each connection carries a primary and a secondary credential. Rotate by switching your device to the secondary, then regenerating the primary - no downtime. Treat credentials like passwords; keep them in your secret store (see Security).

Check health

The Inspector shows the connection's health (healthy / degraded) and the last time it received data. Watch the stream from any AI with tail_telemetry.

Verify

Live data-flow particles on the connection and events in the Live Stream panel. No data? See Can't connect.

Then

Route it to a Surface and crystallize a Warm Query.
