Troubleshooting

Quick solutions to common issues. Start with the symptom you're seeing, or jump to the component you suspect.

Fast answers

No data on a surface - check the connection shows live data and the Live Stream panel has events; confirm the source is wired to the connection and the pipeline is deployed (Save -> Deploy). Watch live data from an AI with tail_telemetry. Deeper: No data showing.

Can't connect a data source - check the connection's Inspector status. For a live device, re-check credentials (rotate with the secondary), host/port, and outbound network; for an API Source, re-check the endpoint and auth. Deeper: Can't connect.

A warm query returns nothing - widen the time window, check field names and case, and test the filter step by step. Ask Azi to "run this ad hoc" to iterate before saving. Deeper: Query returns empty.

Permission denied / can't accept - you need the right access (Editor to propose, the right owner to accept); acceptance happens in the portal, not over MCP. See Team & Access Rights.

A token stopped working - tokens expire; regenerate under APIs -> API Keys (the exact MCP install command is in the API Explorer -> MCP tab). See Auth & Tokens.
