Activity Log

Common issues

No events for an older change - the log only captures from the moment it was activated; it doesn't backfill. Anything before activation won't appear. Add the log early.

Events tab looks empty - check your filters. A narrow date range, a specific user, or an entity-type filter can hide everything. Clear filters and widen the date range.

Verify says the chain is invalid - the integrity check found a break. Note the entry it flags, export the events for a record, and contact support - immutable storage means entries can't be edited normally, so a reported break is worth investigating.

Export is empty - same cause as an empty Events tab: the export respects the current filters and date range. Widen them and re-export.

Check it

  1. Confirm the Activity Log node is committed and active.
  2. Make a small change (e.g. rename a surface) and refresh the Events tab.
  3. The new event should appear, attributed to you, with a before/after diff.
